August 2016 Hatch-A-Long

It does sound like the crop. Check it first thing in the morning to make sure it's empty. The scab may just be an abrasion from the bush.

part of me knows i'm just being paranoid, waiting for the sky to fall. He does have quite a few abrasions, but all in all is VERY active.

Congratulations to everyone on your incubation and hatch.
I finished with 35 chicks in my LG 9200 incubator.

If I don't sell these chicks, then I may use them to replace layers in my backyard flock. They should be ready to begin laying early Spring next year.

I hope everyone enjoy your incubation experience. :).

4 chicks out! One more is zipping and another pipped on the wrong end/side. It has made progress, so I am leaving it for now. Waiting for this last chick to finish hatching and drying before I pull them out. 4 more to go! Day 21!
