August Hatch-A-Long

Pics
Sorry to say no. I am sure my digital thermometer messed up somehow. I am getting some more though bought a different thermometer. I am sad the two were fully developed but small and another one was extremely small. The thermometer is the only thing I can think of that happened. The people I got them from has a thing where if you don’t have many or any hatch pay $5 and shipping and they will send more.

Guess I will be joining September’s hatch along
if you have to room, i tend to run 2-4 different ones depending on how many i set in the bigger one, just to make sure

I’m sorry that they didn’t hatch! Do you have an external thermometer that you can use to work the kinks out of your incubator before you get more eggs?

Keet is zipping and peeping up a storm!!! I’m hoping I can get better pics with this new hatcher...

Here it is Monday night and I realized I had not reset the hstcher for next weekends hatch, I usually do that as soon as I know the last hatch is done, sometime sunday? So after cleaning the hatcher and putting it back together I candle and sort out the eggs for the next week... pulled out 14 quitters and moved 17 eggs into the hatcher pending lockdown Wednesday.... here we go again

And he’s out! Big and vigorous baby!!! We are debating Lavender va Pearl - will see in the morning! It’s nice to be able to just leave it in the incubator to fluff up instead of rushing it out like we did with our last hatch, though DD misses cuddling the just hatched keets... Yeah!!! Can’t wait to introduce it to lonely keet in the AM!!! :fl That introductions go well!!!

You really have a system going! Do you hatch every week?
