I stopped the turner today (day 16) for my shipped silkies. I candled them and found two that stopped developing since about day 8. So out of 18 eggs I now have 6 that are still in the race. Also have two more of my homegrowns in there as well. I have them in an egg carton, and plan to leave them in it thru lockdown. I upped the humidity just a bit, but not up to the full lockdown humidity level until day.

Fingers crossed they all hatch. This will be my last incubation until next spring.

I had 8 shipped silkies and believe it or not 7 are in lock down!

out of 17 that I got from Roxanne 9 went to lock down but only one was a quitter the others didn't start...I'm really looking forward to this hatch! these are the best shipped eggs I've bought all year

I said last incubation then went and bought a bunch of eggs...I have 4 boxes of them sitting here resting

I did the deed... at least he didn't suffer long.
