August Hatch-A-Long!

Its day 8 for the shipped eggs that got all smashed up. I just did a quick candling of a few and the entire egg looks yellow inside and I see bubbles

Thinking they are truly scrambled inside. So far I can not see any veining except in one that looks like a blood ring with black floating blobs in the bottom of the egg. I knew it would be a miracle if any made it, but now I am just wondering how long till I feel safe throwing them out, without waiting too long and having them explode on the good eggs... sigh.
So sorry.....did you find anything out about the shipping insurance?

They don't explode that fast and usually they would smell before that as the gas builds in the shell .Iwould wait unitl day 10 myself in case.but thats me.

I thought all of my eggs were doone yesterday so I candled them all. I found one moving inside. I left them and now there is another that has an internal pip. So 2 are alive. Buff Orpingtons.

Wow that is amazing! How is it doing now?
little chick is doing ok so far...when i got home at 3pm(my time) he/she was completely out of the egg and doing it best trying to move around though it still needs to absorb the last tiny bit of yolk and seal up the spot and it should hopefully continue to thrive and soon be able to go int the brooder with its 4 siblings

I is still early.I have had day 25 hatches..........
Doodle
64 is ok.... not much lower though
I try and maintain 65 -68 and no higher either
Too late now but on lock down try a soaking wet terry wash rag in there opened up to keep the humidity up .Position it under the vent hole so you can add water with a straw and syringe to re soak it as the days pass. Works great.

Wonderful news Congrats!

I unplugged the bator last name night to cool so I can clean it. Came down this morning and one of the egggs I thought for sure was a dud had hatched. Temp was below 80 degrees. Amazing
They surprise you sometimes.
When I have over lapped hatches I have had more than one I forgot to take out but was due and it hatched in 35 humidity
! Funny I look in to turn eggs and here in one egg hole is a live fluffy chick peeping ...
