I know I am only young..ish but people not knowing who INXS are, or that ever popular "Not happy Jan" phrase....next thing people will be saying they had never heard "did I do that?" "Kiss the baby" or a catchy little tune by a very young Will Smith about being born and raised in West Philadelphia!

Always feel a bit old when people say "that was a bit before my time" to these things lol

Welcome to our 'not so little thread anymore'

I don't want to ruin the ending for you, but Ben just lost ' pecker ' , that's what my tongue in cheek post above was about. Sorry Ben , couldn't resist .

Ah, Mr Pecker, feisty little guy that one. Got some mileage from the name thats for sure hahahaha

I am due for a small update in there too, have to transfer some pics off my phone to load up.

INXS?  Must be some sort of young person's Pop group.  Never heard of them!

They were very popular in the early 80's - 90's , but they weren't everyone's cup of tea.
I saw them live a couple of times, but then I also saw Michael Jackson when he came to aus. All my work friends thought I was nuts, but it was the best live concert I've ever been to.

The chick might not have fully absorbed the yolk yet. With a little tlc like fancy said she may come good. Just make sure when you are cleaning her bottom you don't knock off the umbilicle cord (if it is even called that) That will drop off naturally when it is ready :) Best of luck

I saw this guy on my driveway today and as I got closer I noticed it had my dogs stuffed toy rat!
Just out of curiosity, has anyone had one harassing their chicks?

:lau That's really cute Chook. No, I haven't had any issues, but the dogs probably keep them away.

He must of felt like such a dork! I wouldn't have thought they would go something as big as that, which is what made me a little concerned at all the free ranging mama's and their chicks on the farm at the moment.

They will survive a few hours without heat . But I'd probably get 2 anyway, in case something goes wrong and your back to square 1.
