Wow you definatley have a great mumma their Ash. Does she still lay? Chooka still lays but old blacky chook i am not sure as she is in the laying hens pen so I rarely see who lays. I don't mind if she does or doesn't.

First chicks from my latest experiment- Lavender Aruacana crossed with Bantam White Leghorn-
these should lay pure blue eggs. I am a little surprised at the colours of the chicks- I would have expected all chicks to be yellow.
My most reliable old broody - she must be more than 10 years old!

Absolutely gorgeous. Love the 2 darker ones.
