Indeed they are! I had one try and swoop to get one of the chicks while they had some grass time over the weekend, nasty things. Coop renos were started as well over the weekend. All gutted out Will post another pic tomorrow of what we did - It's not finished yet by a long shot. In other news, I think the only DB Rock that hatched is a roo it has thick legs, slow to feather and already has a comb.

My poor hubby doesn't know it yet but I was thinking that as they have no back on them he might be able to cut a panel out of the coop and hinge it . That way I can just lift the panel and access the nest box. Sounds good in theory.
