Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

It has been a few years since I bit someone, probably not that long in the general scheme of things, heh.
I actually did have a psychotic episode right around my worst point where I bit my son because he grabbed my iPhone out of my hand and threw it. It wasn't hard and it was one of those situations where I immediately felt awful and ashamed (I still do) - but it was what it was. Psychosis. I'm far better now. My problems are limited to chronic anxiety and depression which is well managed eat least...3/4 of the time. I'll get there.

So I uploaded all of my photos to my computer and now I can share some with you all....I am thinking of started a blog or page or something for my wee menagerie because I am pretty sure people on here and facebook get sick of my animals popping up on my news feed...

Big news! My first mealworm beetles hatched today! YAY! I sift through every day to separate the pupae. I have had the mealworms less than a month so I must be doing something right!

Here is a photo I took the other day of my gorgeous Stupid Mr Rooster. I was looking for an ID from the lady I got him from. She says he is a "Sussex crossed with one of the black cross". Great view of his massive spurs! And his poor SLM which we are treating!

My girls....(with their man)

The 2 ISA were still pullets back then and had come from a very rough upbringing where they were crammed into tiny cages with many others in the back of a utterly filthy truck and picked up and carried by their feet! They are layers now and so happy! One is such a nosey parker and curious about EVERYTHING! Anything new I bring into the pen and she is guaranteed to be the first one over checking it out!
The 2 Australorps are still the more docile and laid back...the ISA can be a bit excitable!

Some pics of their enclosure, old and new, coming soon....

Going be an interesting day. It's coming down in buckfulls at the moment and the cyclone hasnt crossed the coast yet. Not much wind yet that I am pleased about. Think I
m gunna ban hubby from work today. If the highway goes under here he will be stuck there. See how much luck I have with that one . Edited to add no luck he went to work stubborn man.. Lets hope he doesn't get stuck in fernvale for the night.

Lovely pics. Love the roo. I am partially fond of roosters.
