Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Excuse me while I have a moan....

yesterday was my bday. Nothing special just 31... anyway last year I deleted all my friends off Facebook and kept family and racing friends. All because no one bothers to visit or call anymore.

yesterday I got 1 text and 0 phone calls... just reminded me why I did it.

anyone else noticed this?

So sorry to hear that. There must have been something in the air yesterday. My neighbour turned 60 and she said to me that even her hubby had forgotten. I felt very sorry for her and hopefully he hadn't forgotten and was going to surprise her with something later that night. Poor thing I did feel sorry for her.

Happy Late birthday for yesterday Aussie.:celebrate

RodneyRooster aaaaw, sometimes chickens can be what we think is ‘so mean’. My gals squabble sometimes but 5 minutes later, best buds! Hopefully your gals will sort it out soon, I don’t think integration is ever easy and just takes time.

You were lucky to find someone so quickly who is not going to eat your RIR roosters.

I find it interesting that mine get along so well during the day but bed time, not so much, there is pecking, comb pulling and general bad behaviour at bed time when they are competing for the best spot on the roost. I still haven't worked out what the best spot is, all looks the same to me, but apparently there is one!

Poor ole Dusty tries to find a spot where no-one is touching her ever so sensitive feather regrowth.

Wow

Happy birthday for yesterday! My birthday is close to Christmas/New Years and I gave up a long time ago hoping it would one time be something special; just another day. It has been forgotten on a couple of occasions, probably because too much going on at that time of year.

In Bambrook Bantam news, LuLu (bottom of the ladder) decided that she was going to chest bump Cilla (top of the ladder and broody mum) through the wire yesterday .. it was kinda cute. I do not think she will be so brave when the divider is removed and Cilla and the bubs meet the rest of the flock for real!

Even with the wire, Blondie and Dusty are wise enough to give the broody pen a very wide berth; they have seen GodCilla in action!

Mine is the 1/3 and mine was missed as a kid (9yr). I took off on my horse after a shouting match with my folks. But my nan rescued the day turning up later with a cake and her gift

My nan has never forgotten (or my new friends) even when my folks have during the years.

So..... Moan away and know that your friends at BYC all wish you the best year a head

Happy belated birthday Aussie!

My husband has sort of like a "test" on FB. He deliberately enters his birthday as the wrong date (his is the 14th Dec) and if anyone wishes him a happy birthday on the wrong date, then he deletes them, saying anyone who knows me well will know when my true birthday is and they are the only ones I want as FB friends.
