I have 17 Roos and counting. When we were away I woke up to the sound of roosters crowing and a pacer doing its morning track work along side the truck. I felt right at home.

Another after my own heart. I must admit though I never hear my roosters during the night.

@cwrite - I live in the Moreton Bay Council region too, and have one rooster. I do go to great lengths to ensure he doesn't upset the neighbours. He has a cock collar on, which really does soften his crow and he's also in a darkened cage until I let him of a morning. My coop is quite close to the boundary to my neighbours but haven't had any complaints at all.
I've told them to please let me know if little Romeo is becoming annoying with his crowing - so far so good.

So yesterday I bought 2 new additions; a new little Speckled Sussex pullet and a weeny little buff Pekin pullet. They are so cute.

When we had Toothless we also kept him inside in a dark room and let him out in the morning with a rooster collar on. If I wasn't early enough to suit hm, sometimes he would make the titbitting noise, perhaps to entice me to the food and then let him out while I was there.

He never crowed inside though.

Is anyone else having trouble reaching and navigating the site? For the last few days I can't seem to get the BYC pages to load. Usually I go through the app on my phone but today I tried just through the internet and still won't load! And it won't let me post comments!
