My newest chicken abode has arrived, too wet to get the excavator across the lawn to put it in its rightful place though.

Love your new coop Fancy.
K Riggs what incubator are you using. I have borrowed a Janoel 24 my humidity is around 65 and it's not easy keeping it there. I opened the corner 2x this afternoon and quickly spray warm water on the non slip mat I have in there because it was dropping below 50. I hope I did the right thing. I'm used to my hex incubator. So its all guesswork. My silkies hatched just fine on the day they were supposed to so I guess I will have to sit on my hands now and wait. I was debating whether to put in a damp chux. I hate the waiting and second guessing. How are your ducks doing?

I have one peeping like crazy and half unzipped. Another with a good pip. My incubator is river systems. It is at 60% with it's two tanks filled and I have put wet paper towel in to keep it at 65%. I think you did the right thing I would put the chux in.

I slipped the chux in. The temp didn't even move. Its sitting on 60% now but I still only have 1 pipping and it hasn't pipped anymore since last night. OOOOH I hate the waiting and not knowing if I've done everything right. My eggs are dirty and everyone says don't put dirty eggs in. Maybe I shouldn't have accepted dirty eggs. I don't know, I'm still second guessing everything.:barnie
