Hope everyone is getting some rain. We have been getting a little bit the last few days. Not alot to update here. My marans babies hatched early this year are just about up to laying age so fingers crossed ill have some more dark layers soon. Hope everyone's hens are still laying up a storm.

We've had a little rain in Adelaide this summer. Out of four chooks, two are laying, one is brooding, one is moulting.

My yard looks like a fox ran through... lol I have feathers everywhere... all my girls and my drake (except 2 chooks) are moulting... lol

I too am a new member, trying to work things out. Little 6 acres in southern New South Wales. Have three pet silkies that I love to bits, Featherfoot the rooster, Amber because that’s her colour, and Little Damsel the black one, sadly little buttercup passed away earlier this week. Still sad and missing her.

I'm not sure about registered breeder as such but the nsw waterfowl association is all I could find when googling for clubs and things
