Feeling a bit disappointed this morning. Candled my eggs from Julie last night and it's not looking good. Most of the Wyandotte eggs looked clear and the wellies did also. After that I did not bother to candled the marans cause I just don't want to know .I have left them all in the bator for now.

Wow that's a huge reaction. You would think knowing the money involved there would be a plan b from the quarantine folks. Also have to question why they weren't notified till it was almost too late to stop.

So does this mean we don't have salmonella in Australia? I didn't know that.

My silkie still goes broody twice as often as my sizzles. She is a pain!! Lol

Satay, so sorry about your Eggs :-\ that's a terrible feelin. The marans still could be ok. Mine were ok when nothing else in the incubator developed too. I wish we all lived closer. Could share birds easier. You could have my marans that I'm not keeping.
