Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

I'm trying to return the 48 egg auto, it's not any good to me apart from a hatcher maybe, I can only get the temp up to 37 degrees with the digital thermometer reading 39.5 (the highest setting) The power was only out for an hour and I threw my woolen doona over them all as soon as it went out so the temp didn't drop that far thankfully. I'm looking at getting a generator that actually works rather than the piece of rubbish I have here!

Why would it be faulty, is it second hand?
That's a great idea, that woolen doona.
Our house doesn't run of a generator so our electricity runs if the weather lets it.

I have been coming back to that for over 5 hours now and the little devil is still not out yet!

Bed time, should be all over soon I expect.

My little chicks are nearly 2 since hatch date most of their wing feathers have come through.

Hi :) I have 3 Rhode Island reds and four black ladies (not sure on their breed but they've got kind of a greenish tinge to their feathers and bright red crests?)
We're in Mackay of QLD living on my husbands cane farm. We currently have issues with snakes, water rats and in summer goanna so we are in the process of doing a total rebuild of the coop and make our feather babies a brilliant new home :)
