Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Thanks Sid, I'm off on the annual garden walk today. I get lots of ideas and usually come home and start a new garden bed. Hope the weather holds up. My chooks are having cooked pasta spirals with egg stirred through and 2 tins of generic sardines . You have to try this guys , your chooks will love you.
We've got a storm brewing.

When don't you either have a storm or rain lol :) Have fun :)

Hey can I have a second opinion. One of my 15 week pullets is looking like a roo .... Which is no problem as I can swap him for a pullet if it is.
She/he is a Mix breed, not sure what kind of cross breed though.

My guess would be female. The tail feathers I would have thought by this age would be longer if it was male. I can't see any noticeable hackle feathers in the pictures. Is that the only one you have of that age. If not post a pic so we can compare the two and see.

Here's the others of similar type...they don't have the striking full tail feathers as the other one.

Sorry about the pic, they don't like their photo taken.. Lol

I think you may just have to watch it a little longer Kat. I am leaning to girl still but watch the tail feathers as they should be getting lots longer really quick if it is a roo. My marans roos tails are way longer and they are about the same age.
