I am not sure on other breeds other than the Isa Browns, but I am under the assumption that the red combs mean roosters, BUT I think it comes back to breed
I am sure someone will correct me, as they have more experience than I do with other breeds

Yeh just their whole face in general, around the eyes ect

The isa browns will be ready to lay, it will be a little while longer for the australorp .

My guess would be they are all a while off still laying. Your Australorp should lay anywhere from about 18-20 weeks. The isa and leghorn a little earlier.
