I love the combs Are they that rose pink really or is it the light ?

I think it must be the light - slightly darker in real life, definately red rather than pink.

On a side note - we have peeping!!! Broody sat on eggs due tomorrow - sounds like some have internal pips!!!

It's quite weird actually. She is in the banana garden it's fully enclosed so I would not think she would be getting out and there is no way she could get young chicks back in if she did. We have all checked the garden many times and still can't find any nest or eggs. Will check later when I go to feed them all.

I found a coronation sussex hatched this morning. A little suprised , cause George hasn't been spending much time with his girls lately. I kind of assumed that their eggs would be infertile. Funny how things happen.

I can't believe how messy the Bator is with hair fluff everywhere ! What's the best sanitizer to use ?

I use aldi disinfectant mixed in water and just wash it out and dry it in the sun for a few hours.
