Aww - such cute chickies!! Congratulations!!
And what a handsome rooster Charlie is!

And just because my broody Nell and my two 5 week old chicks (Lydia & Violet) have been hogging the limelight - a couple of photos of my silly chook Penelope!.

Ok so I'm trying to rehome 3 roosters!!
Have been hand raised and are very friendly. Been raised around children and are about 20 weeks old! They need a nice home with lots of space, as are used to being freeranged! If anyone could let me know if they are interested or know of anyone that interested please reply!

These roosters are in the Ormeau
(Brisbane/Gold Coast) area QLD

Just popped on to say "Merry Christmas" to you all :) Sorry I haven't been on, between doctors visits, kids, animals lol Now sister is turning up from Queensland tomorrow.
Flat out like a lizard drinking :)
Bantams are doing great :) 2 of them went to their new homes already, Noodles and Kiev are doing great. Feathers developing on their feet, finished their bigger coop which they love :)
The other 7 chicks that I hatched are getting huge and follow me around everywhere now, even when I am trying to mow.
Had extreme heat the past couple of days, so been trying to keep them under the tree out the back with me in the shade, or watering their coops down constantly.
I have never known chickens to love water so much. They love the hose :)
Anyway guys, best be off and get ready to head to town with the boys :)
Hope you all have a happy and safe Christmas :)
Probably chat to you all in the new year :)

Thanks sandee, sounds like you better slow down to 60 before you bust a poofle valve. :lau

LOL by tomorrow it will be dozen

It's quite weird actually. She is in the banana garden it's fully enclosed so I would not think she would be getting out and there is no way she could get young chicks back in if she did. We have all checked the garden many times and still can't find any nest or eggs. Will check later when I go to feed them all.
