Yep I think that wears off as you get older! It's just light enough to go feed the chooks. Two of my boys ( blrw ) are being shipped out to Victoria tonight so I'll spoil them one last time. Their favorite sardines eggs and cooked rice.

Unfortunately, i noticed this morning that Tony had put my collected eggs in the fridge. I don't know why, he has never done it before. So, will take a couple of days to collect some more.

It's so hard to send them off sometimes. but I do the same as you I spoilt them just before they go

Eggs made it to Bris safe n sound.... (& not in the fridge!!).... They sat happily in the car wrapped in a scarf then cradled in my baby's little rocking chair with occy straps around it all to keep them secure.... My dear husband likes to over-engineer things!.... Sitting on the bench just having a little rest before going off to rexy's bator!

Remember the story one husband told me about your eggs when he got them off you. Thankfully that was only a story but I would have killed him if it really happened.

There were plenty more where they came from. That's the good thing about hens, they keep laying. The young pullets from Chook have just started laying so I am getting some very nice eggs atm.
