wow Ash. We have had just over 200mm for the whole year.
I bought a big bale of rice hulls today - works well on the acres of mud I have in my chook runs.
We have had 2 dry days here, so the mud was starting to solidify a bit, but more bloody rain'
forecast for the weekend!

Good luck with that, but September is usually the wettest month in Melbourne. We've had one nice day , even got the horses rugs off for a while. The horses make a mess around the gates, it gets very slippery when you are trying to get past them with their breakfast. My chook runs are under cover so they are pretty good. I hope it dries up over there in the next 3 weeks , my daughter is competing at werribee.

I got my Yokohama hatching eggs today. 6 have no cracks, 2 have hairlines, 2 have extensive hairlines and 2 are completely crushed. Pretty good I think, especially for minimal packaging/ padding.
Also Ms Frizzle went broody so she has got 8 eggs under her.
Anyone else incubating?
