Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

I've had no experience with the brinsea, but @satay might be able to help.

I don't either sorry . I have an rcom but I would guess you switch off the turner and the remove the turner if you are able to. Up your humility to 65% and keep the lid closed until they hatch. I'll do some more research for you later.
Ok what I have found is that you need to set your days to 21 (it will count down from 21 to zero). set your turning to auto. This will automatically turn the turner off a few days before hatch. Keep the lid shut unless you are filling it with water. You may want to invest in a hygrometer from Bunnings to check you humidity as you want to keep it around 45% for first 18 days and then around 65% for hatch
If you do face book there is also a site called https://www.facebook.com/groups/incubationstation/ lots of great people on there that can help too.

You know you're a chicken person when you see crowing as a good thing lol

Lol I was worried he wasn't crowing just a late starter I guess. And I got my second egg may have been laid yesterday but I was in bed sick and only collected it this am. It's one on the left.

It's a miracle the little one that was in a bad way yesterday afternoon has survived. I took the advise someone posted about assisting a hatch and this morning thought I was going to wake to a dead chick but I must have done something right. I had to assist it the rest of the way out the shell this morning and it's doing well so far still in the incubator a bit lonely as the only survivor, it's done a big green poo, hope this is a good sign? I guess the next few days will tell if it survives the long haul, going to keep it in the incubator for 24 hours or should I go longer?
