OMG I need more D'uccles in those colours right now! Of course you couldn't leave those little ones behind, they needed a home to be fussed over and adored. That is their sole purpose. How big is a fully grown D'uccle anyway, in comparison to other bantam chooks? or regular sized fowl? My Beatrice has some growing to do still. Looking forward to her tail feathers coming in atm.
Thanks for the feedback so far guys, I'll make sure they have plenty of room like always. I might have to isolate troublemakers and use noise diversions. I'm hoping Iris will start standing up for herself more against Annabelle in a month or two as she hits maturity properly. I may just have to keep the bantams separate.
They are tiny hence my lav mottle belgian being called bitty. She is so iddy bitty. She is the smallest of all the bantams i have and makes a pekin look quite big. What they lack in size they make up for in personality.
The roosters i have found to be true gentlemen. Will let the girls eat first and love to strut their stuff. I feel sorry for poor rodney at the moment as he has just started to strut his stuff and anni and teila give him the stink eye as to say really is that alll you have. Poor rod.
