Yeah, we are fine, high and dry, just not able to get in to town for a while which is OK, we have supplies here at home, a small store in the village and a pub

Some of the images coming out of Ingham are very scary and my thoughts are with those in town.

Hubby, who works at Council, tried to get in today but had to turn around and come back home.

Reminds me of 2011 out here. Hubby got up to go to work came back woke me up and said he couldn't get through as a side part of wivenhoe dam had burst. I was like what have you lost your mind... Nope he hadn't .

That politicians keep telling us isn't happening.

I'm still not sure how i sit with the term global warming but it very well could be i guess. Either way the weather can sure be nutty at times.

New here, I’m in Sydney.. we’ve just started our chicken journey. We have two Plymouth rocks ( possible to be x with australorp ) the owner had pure breed Plymouth and australorp and wasn’t sure who the dad was to these babies! And we have two gold laced barnevelders all are around 3 months old.

Stress can bring on upper respiratory symptoms. Birds that have in the past suffered with an upper respiratory disease can also relapse periodically and become ' carriers ' . Check that the nares and ears are clear and keep an eye on her.

That's great news. A multi vitamin like Anitone added to the feed or water will pep her up while she is moulting.

I awoke to a new version of bush chics this morning. My Millie fleur Belgian has been sitting on a nest of eggs in and under my broms. Cheeky girl looks like she has 5 to 6 little ones. First hatch for me this year.

IS anyone down near all the fires that are happening down south? If you are hope you are all fairing ok. How are you going down there Fancy? Here there has been some wicked winds down your way too.
