It's a very mild summer so far, with more rain than we're used to.

I've got this week to finish, then I'm on leave until late January! Can't wait. If the weather continues mild, it'll be good for getting the coop finished.

Pretty much the same here, although it has started drying out a bit. With so much long grass everywhere, its not going to be fun if it gets very dry and grass fires start up.
Sounds good being on leave!

I'm using the term quite loosely too. It's going to have three sides and a skillion roof with ventilation at the high end to let the hot air out and draw the cool air up at night.

More of a shelter than a coop.
