Australian Shepherd (Aussie) Appreciation Thread!!!!!!

She’s a rough coat I was told, I’d prefer smooth coat but she’s the best dog I’ve ever had.
She loves to herd a ball, basket ball is best for her, she’s a mini. Some people call the mini Aussie an American shepherd. She’s 11 years old.

How are they with other dogs? Particularly rough players? LOL like what’s their play style?

The only experience I’ve had with Aussies is my grandparents’ dogs, Willow and Ellie. Ellie is younger, and still very hyper/needs to play with you RIGHT NOW. Willow is more chill and will happily sit next to you for hours if you pet her. If you’re not petting her, she’ll either put her paw on you or nudge you with her nose. It gets very annoying after a while
