Australian Summer

Yes, she started laying a couple of months ago. I think she might have worms. I put levamisole in the water but she didn't drink much of it. I'm thinking of trying to dose her with paste instead. Do you worm yours?

They had just been done when I got them & I was advised not to do them again until autumn ~ @ which point I will contact my seller & get advice.

What are the proportions?
Ummmm...I'm not a very scientific chicken keeper. The tubs I use for water hold a couple of litres I think & I put a capful in each time I clean the tub but that is diluted each time I just fill up.
Backyard chicken coops recommends:
Just 1 ml per chicken of Apple Cider Vinegar with water everyday can help boost your flock’s immune system, prevent mites, lice and worms, as well as improving their overall well being. Hope that is useful.

Sydney has copped nearly 50 degree heat, we have to make ice cubes for my hens to keep them cool, Aussie summers
This is the worst bit of Summer is when they are so hot that you have to bring birds inside, I just had a chick die on me :(

The huge chunks of ice work really well....like an all day sucker...along with an occasional dose of Sav-A-Chick electrolytes/vitamins to keep birds more comfortable in the heat.
I put mine in a plastic toboggan in the shade.
