Ours in one of those wooden ones you see everywhere (lol) and they all huddle up together in a nest book - literally four chickens (some are young - 8 weeks youngest) - in one box - and they are fine. If they're bought locally I imagine they'd be fine. Our chickens are in similar housing to what they lived in previously and are pretty well insulated in theres. I was quite surprised at how reasonable they were to buy, plus extensions are easy to build.Bit chilly, but not too bad, I haven't turned the heater on yet lol. I haven't been through a winter with my chooks yet, is there anything I should do, their coop isn't very warm, it's an old tin shed and one door is missing, lol sounds terrible I know but I've put a few blankets up on the gap, when I can get my dad to come around I'm going to get him to fix it properly,
