Australorp Pride! Let's see those pics!

Pics
7 three year old Aussie hens, 2 one year old Jersey Giants. Been cutting back on too many treats, cutting back on grains in the treats, foraging them as much as I could this week ... just got eight eggs from nine layers ... the union is happy! Upper management is happy, rooster refused to comment.

If he's a roo ... don't cull him! Keep him for breeding stock at least!

You can breed him with his sisters ... blues are still kind of rare in the states, if he Is a roo, and you can't keep him, SOMEONE will want him!

I want to keep him, but if I get more Aussies eggs they'll all be from the same rooster. So I wasn't sure how that worked. They're coming from a friend, and I have a little addiction to the whole hatching experience. and my incubator has been empty for 2 whole months, and now that all my babies are outside it keeps calling me...

Wish I were closer to Alabama, I'd take a couple of blue pullets in a hot minute!

Here' my two 10 weeks old along with a Black Asian. I think all are pullets. What does everyone else think their sex is?

Well, you have some gorgeous blues ... I to experiment, maybe cross a black and a blue and see what results!

Someone else on this thread said to breed them with black. The guy who gave them to me told me how all that works but it was over my head. Black, blue, splash... I'm still trying to get it.
