That looks like an Easter egger pullet to me. I see muffs on the side of her head.

Australorps have straight combs. That young lady has a pea comb.

What color are her legs? They look blue / grey in the pictures.

No eggs yet, only around 16 weeks

I probably sound like a dummy but it’s hard to tell if they’re actually pointed or the coloring gives the illusion that they’re pointed.

At 16 weeks, that's a pullet. There are no pointed feathers on that bird, and her face would be a bright red, with a big comb and wattles if she was a cockerel.

Hallelujah! Best news I’ve heard all week I guess I just assumed rooster because she is definitely the leader of the younger chickens and as far as comb goes hers is 10 shades brighter and much larger than the other young chickens .. in my rooster experience (4) they always had the bigger brighter combs so I just figured she was one too.

Not a silly notion at all! If you look closely at the "pointed" iridescent green areas, you'll notice a black fringe surrounding them (which rounds everything out). Also, the feathers are noticeably wide. Male specific plumage is quite thin....almost needle-like.

That's the best I can do at describing appearances.

Jonny is one pretty pullet! She may be fast maturing, and possibly getting mature enough to lay eggs in a few more weeks (weather/temps may actually prolong that, though). She could very well be crossed/mixed with Australorp, but no way is she a pure one. She does have a pea comb, as others pointed out. Maybe also has some Ameraucana OR Easter Egger in her (and who knows what else). Anyways, I love that gorgeous green and blue sheen in her feathers!
