No eggs yet, only around 16 weeksThat looks like an Easter egger pullet to me. I see muffs on the side of her head.
Australorps have straight combs. That young lady has a pea comb.
What color are her legs? They look blue / grey in the pictures.
I guess I just assumed rooster because she is definitely the leader of the younger chickens and as far as comb goes hers is 10 shades brighter and much larger than the other young chickens .. in my rooster experience (4) they always had the bigger brighter combs so I just figured she was one too.
If you look closely at the "pointed" iridescent green areas, you'll notice a black fringe surrounding them (which rounds everything out). Also, the feathers are noticeably wide. Male specific plumage is quite thin....almost needle-like.
