Australorps breed Thread

Wow four would be too many for me too!! I hope you can find homes for them but I know it's hard. Good luck.
I was able to find "forever" homes for two roos that were sold to me as pullets but it took me a long time. The last one was 9 months old before I was successful. (several "no shows" and one that I had to go get him back

Ok so I know my rooster is full Black Australorp, but I know that his father was. What do ya'll think his mother could be?

If you are a breeder in the South/Southeast that is breeding towards the standard with an emphasis on meat qualities and broodiness, I would like you to please stand up!! (and shoot me a PM)

I am interested in possibly acquiring a couple of mature hens this fall and would like to start a dialogue.
