Wow four would be too many for me too!! I hope you can find homes for them but I know it's hard. Good luck.

I was able to find "forever" homes for two roos that were sold to me as pullets but it took me a long time. The last one was 9 months old before I was successful. (several "no shows" and one that I had to go get him back

) and these were beautiful BA's. Hang in there, good luck!

Hello Australorp thread

If you are a breeder in the South/Southeast that is breeding towards the standard with an emphasis on meat qualities and broodiness, I would like you to please stand up!! (and shoot me a PM)

I am interested in possibly acquiring a couple of mature hens this fall and would like to start a dialogue.

Thats what I was think ...Do you have any RIR or comet hens ?

I got him from my friend who had rir and black sex link hens, so I guess it might be one of them.

I hope you get more. They are very nice Farm chickens. Folks do very well with them--free ranging, healthy and friendly but still independent.
