Australorps breed Thread

Hi everyone! My Australorp is 7 almost 8 weeks and I was wondering if I should post a pic of her to make sure she's actually a pullet.
Is she old enough to tell?

Hello all, too many pages on this thread to read entirely in one day. Anyway, I have a 9 month old Black Australorp and just recently she just started hissing and getting real puffy when ever anyone would approach her. I have what I think thoroughly have checked her for mites, lice, fleas or something that could cause her to do this. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what might be going on? I have noticed that she prefers to lay in the very late evening. She will even stay in the nest box for a very long time. But she eventually gets out.

Here they are now with my aussie & cuckcoo marans in the main coop hiding from the rain pouring down the other day
Aww, that is sweet. You have a lovely flock!
Thank you ..this is 1/2 of it ...you can see my RIR hen in the left bottom corner .
I have a assortment of americana , comets, plymouth white rocks , RIR , Sumatra hens .
An Aussie ROO ...which is how I got the aussie Baby.
k

does any one have a naked neck thing going on with their Roo ?
Lucky has a spot on the side of his neck where the feathers havent grown back .
Ive checked him for mites , etc never seen any .
I think that the hens are picking at his feathers as they are trying to grow in ..I have seen them peck at him there when they are roosting .
His neck skin is red of course ...Bullseye !
I have sprayed him with Blue coat it only last a few days ...& he hates being held to do anything to him .
Any suggestions ? I have thought of giving him a cloth collar ..or a turtle neck...LOL

This is my Australorp that I'm hoping is a pullet. I ordered a pullet, but wanted to make sure she's actually a pullet.
She's almost 8 weeks and acts like a pullet and has a smaller comb then my sex link pullets and my RIR roos that I'm trying to get rid of.

Thanks!
