I'm not really sure if that is something I should discuss publicly. The vet refunded me for one of the surgeries, when the second one started declining, I didn't want him to get as bad as the first one, but didn't tell the vet, so I'm not sure if he would have refunded me for that one as well or not.

Sorry you lost your birds. I asked because I had never heard of the procedure before.

I was thinking ...he may have known something happened ..he would have noticed some missing .
Usually new chickens are snuck in not out

Maybe he snuck them in and she retaliated by sneaking them out. I hear new chicks can be quite addictive!! ;-)

I can say no to them unless they are in danger...then I cant ..that is how I ended up with 6 plymouth white rock pullets .
they were being pecked to death at a TSC . I got them for 1.00 each . I only lost one of them .I have 5 beautiful White teen ladies now .

Here they are now with my aussie & cuckcoo marans in the main coop hiding from the rain pouring down the other day

that would sound like they are a match to each other .. chicks are ! I can say no to them unless they are in danger...then I cant ..that is how I ended up with 6 plymouth white rock pullets . they were being pecked to death at a TSC . I got them for 1.00 each .
