Couldn't get a pic of the harness because the battery was gone.

if you are confident she can't fall or get hurt give it a try.plz take pictures when you walk your chickensOK. Well yeah, I was just thinking that my coop has absolutely nothing for the harness to hook on and I check on them often.
Do you think it'd be OK? She's not afraid of it. She just is mad when you put it on her.
Quote: I will. I think I'm going to buy a cat harness for them later today. Maybe with the thinner straps and lighter weight they'll like it better.
I'll try to post a pic of the harness and the harness on the chicken!
I'd love to see a video of the chickens walking on a leash...perhaps in a parade. It certainly could be done, given time and dedication.

That was me. I also got three! It's good to hear they are healthy and beautiful. Can you post pictures, I'd love to see them! I would be so happy if they really are all pullets. Things are pretty tight financially right now, so chickens that aren't going to earn their feed is a frustrating thought. They are two weeks old now, so another month or so until we know for sure. I don't think I would have even questioned it, since they claim 90% accuracy, had Kathy not come up and vent checked them when the arrived. She thinks there are two boys. Now two weeks later I have two bigger birds with thicker legs, and one smaller. But I suppose that still doesn't mean anything. I guess we will know for sure soon enough. My chickens would peck my eyes out if I tried that with them!![]()
To whomever upthread asked about McMurray Australorps and sexing- Ours were hatched there May 4th. They are all pullets and should be laying soon. granted, we only got three because we shared an order with multiple people, but they did get the sexing right. They are also really beautiful, healthy birds with glossy feathers and good dispositions.
Best of luck with yours!
