I think most toads in the Us are harmless ...this one is poisonous

All toads are poisonous if you make them mad or if they feel threatened. If you handle them gently they shouldn't real ease their poison.

A few pics of my chicks from today, yes some are dups but trying to get good angles of all. I'm thinking there's at least 2 boys in there...what do you guys think? If so the boys will more the likely be looking for new homes. Edited cause I forgot to say they are 7 weeks old...lol

They look like 10 to 12 week old pullets to me.

I have always said that Australia scares me more than anywhere. Bears are nothing compared to your poison common brown snakes, cane toads, great white sharks, brown recluse spiders, etc.
Talk about going outside or swimming. LOL are you kidding me!!

There are recluse spiders in CA.

If I go to Australia I would fear my life every step of the way. I'd love to go aight seeing though.

Don't know those spiders, do have far too many red back spiders under the house though and have had a funnel web spider here once. Funny how you get used to things, I tend to think of Australia as a lot safer animal wise than anywhere else I've seen on tele.

Mind you I have personally never seen a single one of those scary things you have mentioned in the flesh, but bet most of you have seen a bear or coyote or rattle snake or mountain lion ...... ;-)
