Australorps breed Thread

Looks like were having a hatchalong!! I will post as well..Mine all went in this morning...I need to ask our benefactor what the X means..I know what splash means, ross I think, urch, this man is remarkable with his records..I have written down each group..so I can start records of this ...I made notes of arrival how cold or warm ect....Its going to be fun and interesting....I have a muti BB Blk orp eggs in with them and another variety so its a full house...had a lot of trouble getting a fertile egg out of the blk orp hen , trimmed some fannys so we will see...Going to have 2 bators running by next week..

I do not refrigerate it and I do not see an expiration date on it. It turns the water black but the chickens seem to like it.
Thanks again Ron. I wasn't sure how much I should order so that really helps me in my decision making. I watched a video at the Southland Organic website. The guy feeding it to his chickens took a drink of it to show how harmless it is..

Naw  ! Send him to me ! I can hide a black chicken from the "Chicken Police" in amongst all the gold ones. What a nice bird !


He's a stunner isn't he!!!! Funny how they evolved a little differently Over there...Queensland got heir way..they sure kept the tighter feather didn't they..
