Yes. It has to be that way. I found this:
However, if you cross a barred mama to a black daddy, the boys will be barred and all of the girls will be black.
Are you going to make meat crosses?
Cockle,Question, will a BA roo over a barred rock hen produce sex link chicks?
Cockle,
Been there done it, and Ron is right. Barred cockerels and black pullets, however they will have a purplish sheen and not the green sheen. I found out the hard way when the BR eggs were mixed with the BA eggs by accident. They were culled as soon as they started to grow up!
Hey y'all. Check out Hupp Farm BA's on BST chicken hatching eggs. A great looking flock there Chet.
G'day,
I have an idea on a real longshot on how to get bloodlines from Australia into the USA. Can you please tell me the regulations on getting fowls or eggs from England as I thougtht I read somewhere that this was done.

the compartment above your head on the plane!and if the ban wasnt enough to chap your hide, the $140 customs fee 2 years ago is now certainly up there and the fear of the eggs being frozen in flight or the lack of care in handling is a very serious factor.............you may have scrambled eggs without even cooking them. I believe the only way to safely get them to the state would be hand carry them on the plane and keep them in your lap or a secured baggage compartment.
