I purchased 3 black Aussies from the local farm store. They were all solid black. All the pics i found of them online they were all black so when I went back to the store they had them on sale for 50 cents each i bought two more but these were all black and white. I thought that maybe they had got them mixed up with the jersey giants as they looked just like them when I saw those. Now that I look at all the pics on here of the Aussies I am not so sure now.

isn't it a rooster-to-be? We usually can tell by the leg breadth and how the tail sticks up, but sometimes the tail can change at around 6-9 months. The hens usually have a "praying hands" broadsided tail sticking mostly straight up, while little roosters have an arc to the tail feathers, also stick out backwards, away from the body than the hens' do.

Not sure if you were replying to mine but if so, I am not sure as I am new to the whole chicken thing. Any suggestions as to whether or not these are cockerels are welcome.
