There is no such thing as lavender anything. It is actually self blue which means all the same shade of blue or actually gray. I raise Blue, Black and Splash Australorps and the blues look like this when they grow up.

I never had any luck with the dry hatch. They got shrink-wrapped when they tried to get out. I stick with 40-50 % Humidity the first 18 days and then bump up to 65% till hatch after lockdown without the turner. When they do start hatching humidity will climb so remember to vent if it gets too high.

Yes!

Temperature is much more important and most do not use a good enough thermometer or calibrate the one the are using.
