?? Average Home Flock Size ????

Hello,
I am a family of two, me and cousin, and we currently have 11 nine-week old chicks. Some of which will be rehomed because we are only allowed six. All of the neighbors are pretty supportive; the one to the east has his own chickens. I have a big lot, 0.20 of an acre.

Family of 4 in a typical suburban setting. Two hens currently laying, two additional girls which should be laying by the end of summer, with any luck.

Family of 9/ 7 at home now. We are on .333 of an acre. You can see how many chickens I have in my sig. I've got to separate all of the roos... I'm just waiting until September, when it starts getting a little cooler.

I live on 60 acres, 30 of which is not woodlands. I have 33 chickens which includes 2 roos that run the flock, and various roos that are young (and one will survive...). I have 14 eggs in the incubator right now. I am working on Welsummers, Wheaten marans, and a flock of around 14-15 egg layers of various breeds.

Family of five, with three under five (they dont eat that many eggs.

) We have about 1 acre, but it is surrounded by alfalfa feilds on all sides, where our chickens happily serve as bug patrols.

We have 7 laying hens, 7 point-of-lay hens, and around 15 other chicks that we will be keeping.

Of course, all together I have around 65 chickens and chicks, but most of them are chicks for sale.

Family of 2, 2 acres, 7 teenage hens, 1 dog, 4 cats, some stray cats.

No one is laying yet but I got relatively heavy layers so I am going to be up to my ears in eggs. Luckily, I cook a lot and eat eggs like other people eat chips.

I have 34 chickens - mix of standards and bantams - on a 1/2 acre small town setting. They have 26'x23' run area and 8x10ft coop. Oh, family of 5...we only use them eggs and pets, no meat birds.
