Family of 5 on one acre, with 14 acres around us of fields. Just counted 63 chickens, (still not sure how that's even possible). Enough for us to eat, and give, and my six year old sells the eggs too.

Family of 4 here...we have 11 girls and one roo. We live on 3/4 of an acre in a suburban/urban area. I do not live in a subdivision, so no HOA

& our county does not have any ordinances against chickens. They do, however, have an ordiance against noise, which is very vague. So, we'll see how long the roo lasts

No eggs yet, but I plan on giving eggs away to family and neighbors. Others will be charged a couple bucks for a dozen.

Family of 5 on 1.5 acres. We have 6 hens and a guinea that hare currently laying 6-7 eggs per day. It's enough for us and to give to my In-Laws, and occaisionally sell a few. I actually just sold my 4 leghorns because we were getting TOO many eggs.

Don't know what I'm going to do with all the eggs once the 13 pullets start laying (should be sometime this month).

2 adults, we eat 3 eggs a day! Have 13 10 week old hens (although 1 could turn out to be a roo, and 1 is a cornish x, which we will have to process soon). Can't wait for the eggs! We live on 7/8 of an acre in a suburban area.

Family of 1 and 75 chickens. I have 2 acres of land. Yea, I know it's overkill. I sell the eggs and I keep my chickens as a hobby. I love animals. I just like to keep them around to watch them free range and eat grass and bugs.
