Even my friendliest lap chickens took time to warm up and start sitting on us. Some took a few days, some a few weeks and one took months. Our silver leghorn didn't start hopping on laps until she was around 8 months old. Keep offering them food from your hand and they will come around. Sitting with them on the floor is perfect too. Keep in mind that each one is an individual and some will never be lap chickens. Some will be content to just sit beside you or nearby without touching.
With time, you will get to know them and they will get to know you. Warning, eventually, they will be able to tell when you want to pick them up for cuddles or for things like medical checks. They will stay still for cuddles and run from medical checks
