The litter of 12 I had to split between two moms because it was so big.
The mom that didn't produce milk. I put her surviving baby in with the black kits and her aunt. 2 died before I realized she had no milk, 1 was still born and 4 died from the cold.
The same three kits just after I got them dried off and warmed up. My does a very good with me and just before I snapped this shot Reprieve (she got a reprieve from the freezer) had the still born.
This weekend I will get some updated pictures. None of the babies are with their true mothers. The mother of the 12 was a first timer and wasn't doing well with the kits and Reprieve didn't produce milk. The 2 that lost their kits took them on with no problems. My girls are so good I can mix up babies and put them with whoever. If its a baby they will take care of it and allow all kinds of intrusion from me. As long as I love on them afterwards. If I don't they grunt and thump till I do. Lol spoiled things.
