my instinct says no. I dont think it would cause the problem but it could cause the goop to solidify faster I guessCould it dropping in temperature cause these eye problems as well?

that's great!An update I was able to work the majority of the gunk off of the eye lid.it is still covering his eye but it is no longer connected to it,( it's like when you pick at a scab but dont fully take it off) He can see a little bit now and tommorow I should be able to remove the rest of the gunk. I cannot deny it tonight as its tied in his feathers and after an hour of getting it off the eyelid he is pretty fed up with me. The only question I really have right now is, can I accidentally put to much saline on it?
