Our first 3 ducklings hatched on Tuesday from eggs I incubated from my quad of Swedish. They are so adorable!!
My problem is, they stand at the cage door and peep continuously until I go get them out and hold them. They have a heat lamp, food and a water dish that they play in. Why do they keep yelling? I try to ignore them as long as possible, but they sound so pitiful!!
Our only other experience with ducklings was the 3 we bought last Spring and they got raised in with our chicks. I would like these 3 to be friendlier than the first 3, so I am trying to spend more time with them. Am I spoiling them though?
*New Question* Do you think the one with the different colored feet is probably a different gender than the other two with black feet and black beaks? Male or female?
The spoiled babies...
Who could resist that face?
