baby duck with lots of problems

Muscovy's roost in trees in the wild and will roost on roofs if allowed to sleep out of doors I've had to take the hose and squirt mine down come evening to put them to bed, especially when they first begin to fly, usually after a while they go in to their stalls with out any fussing. I'll see about getting some pics of their webbed feet for you Julie.

The old ones name is Ernie.
Ha-ha, Patti, that's funny. I am not accustomed to a duck roosting up high. I'd love to see their webs. It is amazing how different behaviorally muscovies are from mallard types.

Regarding Ernie, who picks the fight? Him or Opie?

I would love to see a pic of Ernie if you have time.  Isn't Ernie a lot older then Opie?  I just love to see their masks on their faces.

It's raining here but I think we need some rain it hasn't for a while.  The high today is suppose to be 75.  That is so strange for August.  We are usually close to 100's at this time.

I see Que Sera strutting around the yard.  She enjoys all the mud puddles

I hope everyone has a nice day.  I have to go to the store today and I dread that.  I do get to see all my friends that I worked with and I do enjoy that.

We're having the strange cool weather here, too, Patty. Does Uno follow Que Sera around or does he spend most of his time around his mama?

Good luck at the store! You have a nice day.

They usually all hang out togeather but I notice when they go over to the side yard it's like a single file thing. Que Sera is next to the back and Uno trails behind. I love to see them walk in single file. It looks like school kids marching to the lunch room.

They did something today to the uitilities in the house next door. I guess they have to seal the lines before they tear down the house. The rumor is again they are tearing the house down next week.

They must have huge wings then to be able to fly. Muscovys keep surprising me here. They can fly and they can't reproduce with other ducks and have babies. The next time you have to spray a duck off the roof please take a pic of it. To Funny.

No I haven't seen Clyde fight at all.  He'll put his head down and go after them they turn and walk off.

Patty

Dave does the same thing!!! It's soo funny to see him put his neck all scrunched up but long and chase the dog or something but as soon as they turn around he's like "I wasn't doing anything" and acts all nonchalant about it.
