Your welcome Patty and I am so glad Joy is not broody as much this year. I know Opie is happy about that. Opie misbehaving I'm sure he got excited and confused and he couldn't help it.Where did you find the Deperella story at Patty?
Thanks for the compliments on Joy amazing she spent all last summer sitting on nothing but this year she only has tried 2x and finally gave up, now her sis Hope is the crazy oneshe will miss her summer vacation. Opie always has lots to say, this morning he was not a nice boy though when he came inside kept biting my legs so I made him go back out with the flock. i have to remind him I am not one of his girls.![]()
I'll have to look that up. In my spare time lol. so hot out maybe it is a good time to start.Your welcome Patty and I am so glad Joy is not broody as much this year. I know Opie is happy about that. Opie misbehaving I'm sure he got excited and confused and he couldn't help it.![]()
Deperella is titled derperella, the (wierd) faverolles & family. It is under the catagory of pictures and stories of my chickens. I couldn't stop reading it once I started you will love it. I think it started out in 2012 but it still continues. Not as active as before but it still has comments.
Patty
Wow, Patti, she is exquisite and gorgeous. Very feminine and sooo cute. Please post more of her. Are you able to cuddle her?
She is a little outdoorsie girl. Does Uno stay outside near her? Thanks Julie she is bubbling with personality. I just wish she would want to come inside like Opie does. I would love to open the back door and let her in everyday.
Patty

Telling me all about his day after he went into his bedroom
getting settled in for the night waiting for Joy to come inside.
Oh he does Julie and I caught him and my old one fighting through the fence again today so up went some nylon netting to keep them apart. I keep hoping one day they can live with each other but it doesn't look like that will happen any time soon.I love him. He's so expressive. He and Joy make a gorgeous pair. His feathering is amazing. I think he knows he's cute.

Gads, you are so funny, Debs. I am always entertained by your posts.LOL...yes, he totally knows he's cute! I was thinking exactly that even before I read this comment.
Patti, is it true that they roost? If so, do you have any close up pics of their feet?
Is it because they are both males and want dominance so the females choose one over the other. Are the girls even interested in him? (Not Opie). What is his name?Oh he does Julie and I caught him and my old one fighting through the fence again today so up went some nylon netting to keep them apart.
