baby duck with lots of problems

Well then you'd fit in one of the nest boxes if I pushed from behind maybe. LOL

LOL...that sure would have to be a BIG push. Patti, thanks for the pics. Really cheered me up. Opie looks so proud of himself...chest out, wings back. Who is that enjoying the pool with him?

I've heard good things about EEs and they sure seem popular. Good luck with your search!

The easter eggers are great chickens. I have 3. I don't have any welsummers I don't know anything about them. If you get an easter egger look for the muffs on the cheeks they are so pretty with the little muffs.

I just painted dark brown like chocolate brown our siding is a tanish color and we have a green metal roof so we look like a tree lol

I want to change the color on the inside of my house I have lived with green on the inside for too long now I need a change. Hubby does all high painting too.
Those colors sound very earthy it sounds very nice. I never did like green on the walls but decided to go with a green in the bedroom. I do like it tho. Every room in my house is a different color.

Yea! I was looking at pictures online of them, the muffs are adorable! Is there a way to tell if they're male/female at either one day or two weeks old..I don't know what they'll have them in at age wise, either one of those two is what they have but I'd really like to avoid getting a roo, as much as I want one, no one else does so if it is a roo when it's older we gotta get rid of it

and by the time I could tell I'd already be in love with it which makes giving it up terrible. I know there's probably no way to tell at that age but if there is please let me know!

I don't know of any way besides vent sexing and it isn't that easy.

Rooster are really cool and a much added addition to a farm. maybe you could sell them that story.. actually it's true my roos watch over the girls and I know my game roo would give up his life for them if need be.

You know every once in a while you need a change it's been close to 7 yrs since I painted inside and all room are greens of various shades, time for a warm cream..

They don't want a roo because they don't want the eggs fertilized..but Isn't it the same as ducks where they don't develop until they're sat on for a while? Sorry if I'm wrong but I'm a newbie to all this stuff. I really want a roo though because of how protecting they are!

Sounds nice and the warm cream goes with everything. That's a lot of work but it's worth it when you see the end result.
