Good I hope I don't bore you all to death with my rambling. If you all have to come to my door step don't even knock just come on it. You can't miss my house I'm the one with all the ducks and chickens in the yard.

Clyde is about the same. I'm still putting the brewers yeast in his water. I haven't heard from Robbies friend yet to see if her mom asked the avian vet yet. I'm still not sure if she will even do it. I hope she does anyway.

We let Rhonda runner and the baby duck out with the backyard flock. Rhonda is protecting the little one it stays right by her side. I was afraid that Que Sera might think the baby was Turbo. It's not to much smaller then Turbo was when he passed. It doesn't have the crest that Turbo had or the markings that Turbo had. Que Sera is curious but Rhonda won't let her close to the baby. I don't care how much chasing we have to do tonight but I'm going to make sure Rhonda and baby go back in the baby pen tonight. They also have a little house in there that hubbie built when she went broody. My chickens go in the coop every night and we lock them up but I have stubborn ducks that refuse to be housed.

p.s. did Opie come in today?
Opie did not get to come in today I had to be gone most of the morning which put me behind on everything else that had to be done here so I went and visited him this after noon and we ate water melon Of course we had to share with everyone else too.

17 chickens and 6 ducks and I even saved some for the geese.

Well that's a great price to for seedless. I think the ones I bought had seeds. I'm glad you checked in I was worried about you.

Que Sera and I spent many an hour outside getting to this point. I'm so proud of her tho. It's so hard to let her go but this is what I wanted for her. I wanted her to make this choice on her own. This side of the yard doesn't have the big duck house but they do have a big dog house that they can go in. They refuse to go in and the big duck house on the other side of the fence is not used either. We've tried herding them in but by the time you get two in three comes out. I must have stubborn ducks. I'll check on Que Sera tonight off and on tonight.

I have seen Sonny and sometimes Thelma chasing her but I've never seen any of them get close enough to bite her. I think just trying to show her the rules of the yard.

I hope she does good tonight I might bring her back in if there is a problem.

Awe, little Que Sera is getting into camping now. But I think she will have you in her heart. Just make sure you pet and kiss her many times during the day.

Opie!! Watermelon and Miss Lydia's flock. Wonderful experiences.

Que Sera did fine. I checked on her about 3 this morning and she was laying with the flock so I didn't bother her. I do admit it took me forever to get to sleep and then when the alarm went off at 3 I didn't want to get up. Then I over slept this morning not getting up until 9:30. I missed uncovering her cage and the little honks she always gives me. Hopefully she'll let me catch her today so I can at least give her some hugs and cuddles. That might embarrass her in front of the flock I'll have to bring her in to do that. I don't want to destroy her image of being a duck.

I have to feed and water everybody. The flock will be calling the humane society on me if I don't get out there soon.

Have a great day.

Great news about Que Sera getting thru the night. Great job, little but growing girlie duck. I think you should take her in privately for some loves. It is nice you are doing it inside so that she can maintain face with her new friends.

Ozzie the dog made it through the fireworks. He was about to bust so I took him out and he went and we hurried back in. This neighborhood sounds like a war zone on the 4th of July.

I wish Que Sera would teach the whole flock how to happy dance. That would be neat to see them all crouching down and turning little circles. Que Sera hasn't went out yet she is in there talking to Princess. I just wonder what she is saying.

I am happy Ozzie made it thru unscathed with the fireworks. I feel sorry for these animals. Sometimes it is just too stupid how people blow fireworks off for hours on end. A light show is one thing, but every neighborhood?

I wanna see sweetie's little happy dance. It sounds like it's unique to her. Her little personality is exceptional. And I love that she still talks to Princess. Blessed little Que Sera.

I threw away the 4 eggs Ronda Runner had been sitting on. She had given up several days ago sitting. She only hatched the one little duckling. I got to hold it last night. It is so sweet. Hubbie was filling up the pool and wanted to put the baby in. I didn't think it was old enough and it was getting cool and all the fireworks we decided to wait a while before doing that.

Well I did the voice testing on Yoo Hoo and Hershey last night. I got to hold them and they were so sweet. Now here is the surprise. Is everyone ready for this? I was totally wrong about Yoo Hoo and Que Sera being girlfriend and boyfriend. Yoo Hoo is a Girl.

. Hershey is a Boy. Well that was a shock.

Hope everyone has a nice day I have to feed and water they will be nashing at the bit to get their food.

Patty
O my word, Patty. Things are never dull there. I love it. And getting to hold the others was a treat for you. Too funny about the gender thing. It is like all of a sudden they surprise you with something different. Do you have a name for Ronda's little one yet? Can you post a photo of him?

Oh no Opie didn't come in but at least he got to spend some quality time with his mom. I know the watermelon goes fast around here too everyone loves it. My flock is like yours they eat it down to the rine and then some.
