baby duck with lots of problems

What about the rest they may end up in the next county or country.

They dropped the tornado warning and it finally quit raining. Thank goodness. If one hit I don't know how in the world I could round up all these ducks. I don't know how many ducks I do have now. I'm afraid to count. The older chickens stay in the coop when it rains and the teenagers would have to be caught to and put up. Maybe I can start practice tornado drills like they do in schools for the ducks and chickens.

Well if you do please get Robbie to video it. We all need a good laugh once in a while. lol

Trying to get a video of MaryAnna crowing will probably be impossible but I will try my best. It's very hard to walk around with a camera around my neck it gets in the way.

I hope you can get the video I would love to see it. We had 2 sebright hens that crowed. I aways just thought it was a sebright thing.

We have two major problems with that. Number one the coop or the duck house doesn't have an interal hallway. The ducks would not go near that duck house even if the tornado was heading this way and they could see it. I thought of another problem they don't have arms to put over their heads while crouching on the floor in the hallway. Possibly the younger ones could put their legs on their heads and I guess that would work. If we can work out these details I would gladly have Robbie video tape the whole thing.

Deb I can make a call on my cell phone and answer one too but that is about it.

embarrassing to say the least.

What kind of phone do you have? Maybe I can help.

Patty, our rain has finally stopped and we're suppose to get to temps in the 90's this weekend with heat indexes 100+. Nothing like going from one extreme to the other, huh? I've actually given this some thought, since I'm a worrier. My dogs and ducks are going to have to share the basement during tornado warnings or watches or whatever. I'm going to block off an area for the ducks. We have a walk out basement and the door is only about 10 feet from the coop. Of course, I only have 4 ducks to deal with.

I'm glad your rain has stopped. Thats good you have a plan just in case. I wish I had a basement to put everybody in. It would take several hours tho to get all of mine inside tho.
