Patty, are you near me in MO? All this rain is beyond ridiculous. At this rate, we'll be lucky if our pool gets installed before winter.

Teehee...I know where you are, girlfriend. I was wondering about our Patty with a "y".

Pool for humans. My dad bought me a 24 foot above ground round pool that's 4 feet deep on June 24th. We now have a crater in our yard to accommodate said pool. We just need 1 full day with no rain followed by a day that's predicted to be dry. Then the contractor will put everything together.

Funny poor fish. Thankfully my pond has never over flowed . They say we're to get close to high 80's again and bone dry with wind. Yuck, which makes the ground dry out faster. Too bad we really can't help each other out with sending our extra rainy- dry weather to each other. My one tomato plant already has wilt.

I know to bad I would be taking your dry and wind for all this rain and mud. I didn't plant any tomatoes this year. The baby pen was occupied and if I put them in tomatoe baskets the ducks would pick them before they got a chance to do anything.

I hope you get your pool soon. I was just thinking a duck could jump 4 foot if they really wanted to get in that pool bad enough. I would love to go swimming with my ducks.

Strange weather all over the place. After the heavy flooding rains a month or so ago we got another 8.7 inches yesterday...heaviest rain since they started keeping recorders in the 1860's.

pattyhen...wish you could put the rain on hold, get your pool installed, then start up the rain again...would sure save on the water bill

Yeah, I think mother nature is having issues this year!

LOL...I'm the one waiting for the rain to stop so our pool can finally be installed.

Now ladies, we don't want duck poo in my nice new pool. Besides, they're only out roaming around under my close supervision so they won't be able to get near the pool.

Yes it is strange weather this summer. I hope it doesn't mean we are going to get snowed in this winter.

I wish I was getting a new pool but it's Deb and I think she is getting it for her ducks.
